Renowned Sculptor who has won Presidential Awards has Constructed this Traditional Poruwa which brings to Mind the Pristine Glory of the ancient Sinhala kings in building the poruwa he has made use of timber such as Margosa,Jak,Ebony,Mahogany,Teak,Gansuriya, in Depicting Atalo Dahama using White Satin Wood,Red Satin wood.Dewadara ang Agil which are Medicine Timber he brings to mind The Blessing of the Four Gods and their blessings Traditional Weaved Mats have been uses in Carving of the Poruwa.Natural colour of timber remains in the Poruwa to give colour to it without using Artificial colour.
